Hello!
Is it actually July?! We're not so sure... It feels a little closer to spooky season this week (our favourite) more than anything! (We do like to see the magic in all seasons at Pretty Odd HQ, even if we have a favourite that's incredibly close to our hearts - looking at you, autumn!)
We hope you're all well, and managing to fit in some fun things and some rest wherever you are. I'm currently writing this with a cat beside me, tea in a pumpkin mug and a witchy ambience on YouTube. (I wasn't kidding about the autumn thing!)
That being said, we did manage a trip out last weekend in sunny Stratford-upon-Avon to their weekly market, and more excitingly, to visit our Alice in Wonderland pouches in a local shop (opposite Shakespeare's gaff nonetheless!)
Bensons Tea Room is an independent eatery serving up delish meals and drinks in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon, and what's more they have a wonderful shop a couple of doors down selling gorgeous loose leaf teas and Alice in Wonderland treasures. We could not be more excited to be stocked there!
As it happens, this is going out to you on the weekend of 'Alice Day' - the anniversary of the first telling of the story of Alice in Wonderland on a sunny afternoon in a boat down the river in Oxford on July 4th 1862. These days, celebrations take place on the first Saturday in July in Oxford. Perhaps one day you'll see our confections there too!
